Lisa was a local competitive gymnast for 14 years and was a 1994 Virginia High School League (VHSL) state champion. Lisa tore her ACL while competing at the 1994 VSHL state meet. She underwent ACL reconstructive surgery and five months of physical therapy. This experience led to her career as a physical therapist. She enjoys spending time with her family and raising her two beautiful children.
