Sports Medicine

The Bon Secours Sports Medicine department is made up of a comprehensive team of healthcare professionals, directed by board certified physicians/surgeons, who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. Our team of sports medicine specialists, orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, and physical therapists work collaboratively to provide exceptional, all-encompassing care from the time of injury/pain to the return to health and activity. Bon Secours athletic trainers work with student-athletes at our partner middle and high schools in Portsmouth, Suffolk, Isle of Wight County, and Virginia Beach as well as in the physician practice with orthopedists and sports medicine physicians.
