In Motion's Athlete of the Month for February: Louie LaDelia, Jr!
Louie began with In Motion in December of 2010 in the Sports Performance Program (eventually transitioning to the Combine Training Program) at the Virginia Beach-Healthy Way location. He plays running back and corner back for Currituck High School. Louie, currently a freshman, has been playing football for seven years and also enjoys playing baseball and basketball.
His current athletic goals include learning everything about the sport of football and with his willingness to learn the sport from multiple angles, he is likely to succeed. Since beginning at In Motion, Louie has transferred from the Sports Peformance program to the new Combine Training Program-specifically designed to train young athletes to be successful at each combine component.
His In Motion trainer, Wyle Maddox-ATC, CSCS says this: “Through hard work and dedication, Louie has made outstanding improvements in his strength, speed, and agility and it will show when he performs at the National Underclassmen Combine.”
Louie is a hard worker who is determined to grow as an individual athlete for himself and to help support his team. He has a great attitude and is working hard to start in his position with his team next season. Hopefully the hard work he is putting in now will pay off one day so he can realize his ultimate goal of being involved with the National Football League.
“Training at In Motion has given me the knowledge to be a stronger, smarter athlete when it comes to working out. My trainer, Wyle, has given me the tools to grow and be more confident in my abilities,” says Louie.
Well, Louie-it is our pleasure to work with such a hard working, driven young athlete. Congratulations and good luck in all that you do!
