A player’s athletic performance at a Combine testing event goes far beyond functional skills on the field; it is dependent upon a specific conditioning program that targets strength, speed, and agility.

In Motion’s program is a 4 to 8 week focused, comprehensive training plan that enhances each athlete’s speed, agility, core stabilization, and balance, while improving their overall football skills. Our sports specialist trains athletes to be physically and mentally prepared for the Combine, so that when the time comes to compete they can stay focused with the confidence that they have been fully prepared in the training process.

This high-level training package takes into account a player’s functional movement screenings and body composition to better target speed acceleration, increased lean body mass, core stabilization, improved body alignment, explosive jump power, and sport-specific strength and conditioning. The program targets specific tests for the combine including, the bench press, l-drill, 40-yard dash, and vertical and broad jumps.

Here are some examples of how we train our athletes:

  • Speed Training
At In Motion, we coach speed. Our sports coaches teach athletes how to run faster, build their multidirectional speed, and boost their explosive strength and power. How? We build all the elements required for quickness including strength, coordination, and flexibility.
  • 40-Yard Dash
Hoping to knock a few seconds off of your time? Our athletic expert will help you refine your technique and knock precious times off of your 40 yard dash. First we analyze everything from your running mechanics to your agility technique, then we help you overcome your weaknesses and limitations with focused training and comprehensive feedback.
  • Vertical and Broad Jumps
Athletes need explosive power and strength to soar past the competition in vertical jump goals. In order to help improve these static jumps, the sports specialists at In Motion train them in the proper technique for the first-step explosion vertical jump while sculpting their bodies into stronger and leaner condition.
