As a patient at the In Motion Clinic on Portsmouth Blvd I thought you should know just how efficient your staff is. When I arrive for my appointment I am welcomed by the office staff, called by name and asked how I am feeling. So the visit starts very pleasantly. The waiting area is attractive and the reading material is plentiful.

Soon a therapist or a tech calls me and for the next hour I am pampered, pushed, entertained, and educated. I receive treatment not only for all aspects of my spinal stenosis but also on how to counteract my frustration at being dependent on others.

These young folks are able to erase the years between them and me (84). We laugh a lot and that makes the tasks (many of which I fail) easier to attempt. The staff is well trained and take a personal interest in the clients. I have lots of questions all of which they attempt to answer.

Seldom does one find a staff so well prepared to do the job, who strive to make the client commit positively to the necessary tasks and who are capable of making us realize how fortunate we are to have access to this treatment. You have put together a staff second-to-none and you should be very PROUD of them. I can truthfully say,without a doubt, that in all my 84 years no medical treatment has been as pleasant and has produced such good results.

One day I will thank Dr. Blasdell for sending me to this clinic for treatment.

I still have a ways to go before I can rely solely on my cane but that will come.
